How to choose your size

• The snugness of a mask is a personal preference. To determine your best fit, we recommend measuring from behind one ear, across the mouth and behind the other ear... Then compare that measurement to the "Total Length" measurement listed below. Please choose wisely, as masks can not be exchanged, returned or refunded due to COVID-19 health risks.  

Medium

• Many women prefer this fit, however, mask fit is a personal preference & head size is not gender-specific, so please refer to the below measurements.
• Total Length (including elastic): 33-35cm 
• Fabric Length (excluding elastic): 19 - 21cm 
• Pleated Width: 5.5 - 7cm 
• Expanded Width: 14 - 16cm 
• Slight variances may occur due to hand-made nature.

Medium-Large 

• Many women prefer this fit, however, mask fit is a personal preference & head size is not gender-specific, so please refer to the below measurements.

WHO GETS THE DONATION?

• We have had many in-depth conversations with a vast array of charities about what kind of assistance they need at this time, including UNICEF, Make-A-Wish, CARE, Red Cross, World Vision, WWF, Greenpeace, Oxfam, Rotary and more. At this stage we plan to distribute the donations across a variety of charity beneficiaries. We welcome you to suggest a mate/charity to us, however, please note that the recipient(s) of the donation will be allocated at our sole discretion. We thank-you for allowing us to help improve lives on your behalf! x

OUR COVID-19 PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

• FORD MILLINERY "Masks 4 Mates" fabric face masks are hand-made in our studio in Sydney, following COVID-19 guidelines from the NSW & Australian government.
• We limit the number of people in our studio (and a portion of our team work from remote locations during busy times) to maintain 4m2 guidelines wherever possible.
• Hand-sanitisers are available on all work stations for regular use.
• Materials and tools are santised regularly.
• Completed masks are hot-ironed to reduce the risk of contamination.
• Guests and deliveries are not permitted inside without prior approval.
• To further reduce the risk of contamination, masks are shipped in either 1. A compostable "plastic" shipping envelope, 2. A plastic-lined paper envelope or 3. A plastic wrap in a paper envelope.
• We trust that Australia Post have taken all precautionary measures to ensure a safe delivery.
• As soon as you receive your mask, we encourage you to cold hand wash and iron prior to wear, to further reduce the risk of contamination. Please refer to the above care instructions.
• After each use, we recommend you to wash and iron your mask to reduce risk of contamination.  

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION

• Advice from medical experts relating to COVID-19 and face masks should be followed at all times.
• Please cold hand wash and hot iron your mask (ensuring to adhere to care instructions) prior to wear and after every use to reduce the risk of contamination.
• Persons with breathing difficulty or other respiratory conditions are advised to seek professional medical advice regarding the suitability of these masks. If you experience breathing difficulties while wearing a mask, we suggest removing the mask if you feel it is safer to do so and seek medical advice if deemed necessary.
• These face masks are not medical grade and have not been tested to protect from COVID-19.
  
• We do not recommend these masks as a form of protection around known COVID-19 patients.
• These masks are made of 2-ply cotton and do not contain a filter.
  
• Face masks should not be shared.
• Due to hygienic reasons, "Masks 4 Mates" face masks can not be returned or exchanged for any reason.
• By purchasing a mask from FORD MILLINERY, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to all of the above and take full responsibility for your own health and safety regarding COVID-19 and other hazardous exposure. You acknowledge that FORD MILLINERY takes no responsibility for any damage or loss caused as a result of your purchase and you indemnify FORD MILLINERY for all loss suffered as a result of your purchase.

• To keep within the maximum occupancy of our space, a portion of our team may occasionally work from remote locations, following the very strict health practices that FORD MILLINERY has in place in the studio.
• Materials and tools are santised regularly.
• Upon completion, masks are hot-ironed (over 100+ degrees celcius) to reduce the risk of contamination.
• To further reduce the risk of contamination, masks are shipped in either 1. A compostable "plastic" shipping envelope, 2. A plastic-lined paper envelope or 3. A plastic wrap in a paper envelope.
• We trust that Australia Post have taken all precautionary measures to ensure a safe delivery.
