Nothing kills a designer headpiece quicker than an ugly hat-elastic worn over a hairdo. That's right ladies, that clever little hat elastic is designed to be hidden under the hair, be you wearing your hair up or out. How? For an "out" do, simply position your headpiece where she should sit (with elastic on the outside of the hair) and carefully use your fingers or a soft brush to bring the hair around/on top of the hair elastic. For an "up" do, create a small part along the rear hairline *as close to the neck as possible), position your headpiece with the elastic sitting in that part, then bring all of your hair up (covering the elastic) and style "up" as you desire!

Structure and position play a huge role in designing headwear. If we've designed a headpiece to sit on the right/front of the head and its worn to the left/back of the head, it's likely that the "wow" factor you loved will be seen only by the sky (what a waste!). So how do you wear your special headpiece? The best bet is to refer to the product images on our website (putting yourself in the shoes of the model/mannequin). Otherwise, we suggest considering that the feature detail may have been designed to face forward and the label/seam should usually be worn at the back. Lastly, explore different positions and choose what you love!
