Olivia Dean, the British singer-songwriter of the hit “Man You Need,” is no doubt on the rise. It’s not just her music that’s garnered attention, though. Her style has too. Count us as fans of her fun, feminine aesthetic! It’s elegant yet easy, put-together but has personality. Adore!

You could say her style’s working as hard as her music. That’s in part thanks to her brilliant stylist, Simone Beyene. Together, they’ve curated outfits for Olivia that’s perfect for the stage minus the cliche of a showgirl’s corsetry and tights. They’re far from typical for a performer. 

Some may say they’re rather simple, others may think they’re quite restrictive. The duo have proven to have a penchant for sleek silhouettes (a long black dress from 16Arlington), ruffles (in a mini dress from Louis Vuitton, a butter yellow number from Burberry, and more), and textures (tweed in a pair from Chanel, an art-deco-inspired mini dress from Valentino, and more).  

And Olivia carries them oh so well. And it goes perfectly with the kind of music she creates — poised but lively. It’s high-fashion and aspirational but still attainable and relatable. Very Olivia, if you ask us.

Playful and feminine like PALOMA

Much like the dress Olivia wore in the “Man You Need” music video — a light blue silk number with a flowy silhouette accentuated by embroidery and tassels (love!) — our PALOMA oversized bow headband in icy blue satin is equal parts refined and lively. The folds and draping in both pieces offer a soft but bold look.

Magical monochrome with THUMPER

There’s something about black and white. They’re an outstanding colour pair. When coupled with a print or an interesting silhouette, they’re taken to a whole new sartorial level. Case in point: Olivia’s textured dress with a white petticoat. The dress’ shape is attention-grabbing, thanks to its bigness. Purple perfection with MONICA

Think Barbie, but purple instead of pink. That’s exactly what this look exudes. The cut is classically elegant but the sequins add whimsy. We love it! We imagine it to be like our MONICA padded headband with a satin-like finish. The silhouette is classic but eye-catching. It’s attention-grabbing but still subtle in a way. It strikes the perfect balance of polished and forward.
